Caritas [U25] – Ein Gespräch kann Leben retten.

A three-part short film campaign on suicide prevention among young men under 25, created in collaboration with Caritas U25.

Three short films follow young men who seem fully present in their everyday lives – surrounded by friends, family and familiar routines – while silently struggling beneath the surface. They are seen, but not truly reached.

Fleeting moments reveal what remains hidden behind a carefully maintained facade: the pressure to keep up, to appear strong, and to deal with their struggles alone. At the same time, someone close to them senses that something is wrong, yet hesitates to ask. Caught in the same expectations of masculinity, both sides struggle to bridge the small but seemingly insurmountable distance between them. There is a desire to speak and to listen, but the decisive words remain unspoken.

The films explore how isolation can exist even in moments of closeness – and how finding the courage to start a conversation can make all the difference.
